A Tribute to Bill Arbegast

I worked for Bill when he first came to SDSM&T campus and we hit it off right away. Bill always knew he could count on me if he needed a friend. I went over to his house one day because he was giving me so much grief over me and my motorcycle that I decided to give him a ride on the back of my "bike". When I got there he told me, first of all the bike was too big for me and too much power for a crazy woman like me. He told me I would probably kill me, him, or the both of us but he said other than that, "I don't think I could get over having someone seeing me on the back of a motorcycle with a woman driving plus he didn't want to mess up his hair!" I about died from laughing so hard! Bill and I butted heads a few times but we were both so darn stubborn that it was envitable but we still were friends. His AMP picnics were great fun and you could hear him joke and laugh clear across the room as he was grilling the hamburgers and brats. He always had a comment for everyone. I will miss his laugh and sense of humor! Most of all, I will miss Bubba!
